There is generally no need for a medical referral for chiropractic care. Many of our new patients are referred from family and friends or other health practitioners. Our practitioners are happy to liaise with your other health providers if required.
Private Health Insurance / HICAPS
All our Chiropractors and Massage therapists are registered with the major health funds. We have HICAPS to enable instant on site electronic claims and payment processing. No more queuing at health fund branches and filling in claim forms! Most funds ‘ extras’ will cover a portion of your chiropractic fee and many funds will now also cover remedial massage.
Medicare may cover some chiropractic treatments. Eligible patients (those with a chronic complex condition) will recieve a maximum of 5 allied health care visits per calender year fully covered by medicare. If you think you may be eligible, talk to your GP about the possiblity of getting an EPC plan written up for you. All our chiropractorsare happy to work and communicate with your GP. Paddington Chiropractic centre bulk bills EPC patients.
